It has been a journey to make this book into a reality. Up till now, all efforts have been solely funded through personal expenditures and self publishing services. Now living in Santa Fe New Mexico, it is our goal to use this environment of talent, location and resources to produce a quality, engaging and emotionally moving story at world class award level to include Sundance, Santa Fe Film Festival and more. Currently talking with and contacted by entities interested, it is our intent to use these funds for screen writing services, licensing, Management and Production Supervision plus Camera and Studio staffing. Working with New Mexico Film and many key individuals, the template is ready for funding.

Well, as 2010 ended I thought that I was going to get a break in activity – Yeah Right!

On January 3, 2011 I received in the mail a Federal Issued document that was a response from Honorable US Speaker of the House, John Boehner. The letter was an extension of gratitude to me for a first run AP of the Oil Painting “ACT” and my True Story Memoir I sent to Mr. Boehner. He was appreciative and has now “Proudly Displayed” my art in his office, I’m humbled. What a great start to the new year and I am fully aware of the responsibility that this carries, thank you …

As the year continued, tasks and efforts began ramping up for the soon to be “Suit Case Full of Blues” Foster-Child Enrichment Blues Concert in association and featuring Jimmy D Rogers. In the summer previous, Jimmy had asked during a conversation at Mac & Joes in Oxford Ohio if I would be interested in helping him put together a Concert & Show to benefit Foster Children in Southwest Ohio, obviously my answer was both eager and yes! Over the next few months up until show time April 30^th, 2011.

(Suitcase Full of Blues presented by Foster Child Enrichment Council and Jimmy D Rogers on April 30th, 2011. A benefit Musical Blues Concert put on FREE for the purpose of collecting Suitcases for Children and raise awareness for Foster & Adoption Families)

As the efforts’ and benevolence continues, the local College Corner Food Pantry finds itself less than fully stocked and I was grateful to offer a couple of my Original Oils ( ABBY & THE VIEW ) up for Auction to support and provide a small amount of funds to help with the larger picture. It tugs at my heart to the struggles many are facing in hunger and pain in this wealthy yet ignorant Country we reside. How can we continue to ignore the fatal actions of a few that impact the masses?

Although the establishment of my Gallery & Studio offered great hope and energy, it unfortunately became a financial & health risk draw that became too much to handle without a promotional event, “Artist’s in the Corner” which was held in Downtown College Corner (Outside Oxford). The building itself and the owners unfortunately failed to honor the remodeling agreement and profited from my generosity. However, the Art & Music Festival went off well and 20 Individual Artists & Musicians performed all day long. Many of the Artisans (Dan Moore, Neil Simak, Howard Krauss, Brittany Lawson, Food Vendor Black & Brew, and many more …) The Musical acts were Head-Lined by the National Blues Group, Bad Men on a Mission. And the Best of Show was awarded to Pam Howard, resident artist of the Oxford Community Arts Center. The entire show was a success and although I am not there to organize another event, it is my prayer that the community will find hope and energy to have another …

The exposure of my artistry, and in June the painting “ACT” also becomes the online featured image for the 2011 SOS Art Academy of Cincinnati. This made the second year in a row of being a featured artist in this exhibit and I find the attention a great asset to my portfolio including the summer of 2011, Oxford Starbucks again provides wall space for four works of motif display in the local shop…

As the summer draws on, my visions and talent explodes into a prolific pattern of painting in the studio. Many of these paintings find a new audience and gain Fans as some are auctioned off online. A mixed-media painting “Garden Study” sells prints within the first five minutes of being posted online…

In mid July 2011, my next work in LIVE Studio is based on a conception that I found floating in my view of creative Fine Art. It introduced a Full body impression representation of “UNITY” An acrylic body painting of two women lying opposite and then covered with raw canvas. The reaction to this work has been both excellent and confused. Either way, it draws the viewer into the image and the print sales along with the YouTube video, allows me a point of satisfaction.

With a full heart and gratitude for the year, I am now personally concerned for my health and safety of my Gallery due to the failed work completion by the owners and the neglected response. As always, I have the task of protecting myself and begin to toss around the idea of making a move and transition in my Artistic skills and journey. After much consultation, a choice of studying & living in Santa Fe NM is made to enhance and grow beyond my limits. In doing so, the final analysis was referenced in this way – “If I were an Engineer, I would want MIT in my experience” well, if I am a real artist & author then Santa Fe or NY need to be included in my path. Since I have comfort with the Southwest, the choice was easy. The move however was not and yet at the day’s end, I am now a living Artist with permanent and tangible Art Auction results. Many of these works, including the “Coldplay”, “Reach”, “ACT” & “Passing” all sold for prices of 200-600 each and offered a recorded history of my talent – Bless you to all who now carry my heart, passion and soul in my painting with you.

Upon my arrival here in Santa Fe, I have been met with some challenges in securing a residence. It appears that Santa Fe housing market has created a number of people willing to attempt to take advantage or misrepresent their intentions, anyone besides me see a pattern here ??? LoL J

Ironically, in the time I have also found a local radio show, book store and other outlets that will perhaps offer a place of exposure for my Memoir Norma Jean’s Sun. I am now a Member of the Art Institute, Auditing Member of Santa Fe Creative Fine Arts and a begin Workshop studies in January 2012. In the first week of December I have found an exhilarating and fear of the unknown event. Through a Marketing and Promotional program of Amazon, my book became Ranked #1 Bestseller Memoir on Amazon for 48 hours and sold over 900 copies. I will be happy to discover the reviews and results yet to come in the new-year; I will let you know when I find out more. Either way, again – Thank You !!!

However, as many times over I have found comfort in knowing this: My deeds are honest, My Heart is Safe and My Soul is Clean! In God’s Grace and love I have found a point of spiritual reference that keeps me at least guided in times of struggle. This world and life for each of us has never been a complete smooth travel. Nor do I expect the greater Icons of what I see for my artistic life to be available without time and pain. I am however completely aware of the serendipity of my experiences and path involved. I arrived here and went to a private party one night and met a man they call Fish, a Woman named Joy, an Indian named Alex and a Host of others simply known as friends.

In the short time of my appearance in the Southern Desert, I have been reinstated to the comfort of clear skies and fresh air. The brisk cold mornings and the warmth of pure Sun. The view of a spiritual horizon made by a force none can ever touch yet we all seek to feel. I place a large amount of my heart and spirit into each meeting of a person, place or time. I suppose that is why I have found moments of frustration, I take you at your word and give you all of mine. It is times of struggle that perhaps the poem “Foot Steps” and the Serenity Prayer become my best companion.

I suppose I will bring this to a close but I feel I have left something out. Perhaps it is my deep Gratitude for each of you who continue to love me from a far. Support my heart or give me a moment of your time. I can never thank you enough. I sincerely hope this letter finds you in good health, prosper in a time of need and that your world is filled with kindness and benevolence to others. Do not wait for the invite to be kind, offer without reward and watch the world open to a place of rest.

I have read this book twice now, as I frequently do with stories that move me. The first time I was so overcome with the depth of despair and the self destructive behavior of the writer, that I didn't fully grasp the depth of the love he was shown by some of his family members and the ultimate enlightenment he experienced. The second reading drew me completely into his world and the roller coaster ride that has been his life. I felt my own heart aching at the accounting of his mother's passing. I smiled at the successes and the happy encounters he experienced. I felt frustration at the waste of potential. I find myself longing for a final chapter that tells of a happy, pain free, fulfilling life. One that I expect will never come.

The accounting was very frank, not holding back on details that one would generally not want to admit to. The story held my attention and I found it difficult to put the book down for the few short breaks I took. The pictures added a personal touch, and while I would have preferred to see captions, I felt like I could guess who the subjects were and felt more attached to the characters as a result.

I found myself wanting more details and a more cohesive story, but I am more a fan of fiction, so this is a somewhat unfamiliar genre for me. As memoirs go, this is one of the best I have read. I may read it again sometime.

Album Description: I dont know of any pianist who has recorded all of his storeroom of knowledge. These selections represent many years of gigs, practice, schooling and study. I would like to leave a legacy of the songs I love and some I dont. I began in the late fifties thinking all I wished to do would be to take a descent improvised chorus on blues or rythm changes. 2011 end times prediction

The 2011 end times prediction made by Christian radio host Harold Camping states that the Rapture (in premillennial theology, the taking up into heaven of God's elect people) will take place on May 21, 2011 at 6 p.m. local time (the rapture will sweep the globe time zone by time zone) and that the end of the world as we know it will take place five months later on October 21, 2011. Camping, president of the Family Radio Christian network, claims the Bible as his source and says May 21 will be the date of the Rapture and the day of judgment "beyond the shadow of a doubt". His followers claim that around 200 million people (approximately 3% of the world's population) will be raptured.

In my life I have seen many things, experienced many loss and died twice! Yes, I said died. In 2008 I had a full GI Bleed and lost 7 units of blood, spent 5 full days in ICU, transfusions and much more medical issue than one could have hoped for that day I woke at 8am. Not knowing I would be dead 4 hours later, I had no need or desire to scurry around for a last moment forgiveness as most do when warned before. I'm not knocking forgiveness, it has its place and the acts that are promoted, serve the audience well for the effect it gives, peace of mind...

What I really want to express here through a couple excerpts of my Memoir and the fact that when I experienced personal rapture, the event was silent. Not even a chance to say good bye. In addition to the GI Bleed, I have also successfully committed suicide.

In a moment of desperation, the previous person whom I no longer wish to be, selfishly committed an act of rebellion against the very fear many are talking about today by taking my life in a car at 100mph with purpose and sober focus. As that car rolled and tumbled, I found that God had captured my soul and heart long before I felt the touch and as I bounced around like a rag-doll, his hand reached inside that car and without "Any" doubt said: "It's Okay, I've got you now" It is there I have resided ever since. I stroll to the tips of his hand many times to peak at the fall, entertain the other side. Just check to see if Hell is still there perhaps ...

In both of these events, one predictable and the other not, I came out of that experience an new man and individual capable of an understanding not known prior. That doesn't mean I am anything other than old fool and a man who believes. And I believe that if in Fact "YOUR World" ends on May 21, 2001 - that you are able to find peace and transparent passage into a vision that you have come to terms with. Mine results in an understanding that my Deeds are done, My Heart is Safe and my Soul is Clean!

One last thing, as a direction of confusion I have wrestled with self worth over the years and attempted to use objects to define my path. I still do perhaps through my art and book but these are the assets I own without reserve and it took me 40 years to purchase them. They can not be taken away by any other means than vacancy. SO I share with you something that was given to me many years ago and pray that it gives you a pause for thought and consideration:

When I base my life on Sex, I'm always lonely...
When I base my life on Money, I'm always Broke...
When I base my life on Prestige, I am always Second Best...
When I put my life on a Spiritual Principle, there is Never a Second Best...

Time was empty; it paused unwittingly.
My suicide attempt left me with the car crushed around my less-than five- foot body. I was on top of the drive shaft and between the bucket seats. The cartilage in my chest and back had been shredded and torn. My face was studded with broken glass and blood was everywhere. My legs were battered and bruised, flakes of severed glass particles protruding from their flesh. My hands shook in terror. I hung in an upside-down, crooked position, which led me to think I was in a ditch. Was this the feeling I had missed so many years ago when Hollywood had lost his life on a similar stretch of road? “God, help me!” I cried.

The officer hovered over me. He assumed my tire had gotten stuck in the gravel and I had over corrected. I let him believe it. I replied with a strained “yes,” and that was the end of the discussion. I can say with out reservation that as the car slid and tumbled over the pavement, as it went crashing and splintering into the night, nothing could have saved me but the divine hand of God, which had reached itself into that battered car and wrapped its palm around me to comfort and protect me.

I had raged and revolted against the force of creation responsible for my grotesque image for all the years of my life, but in that moment I had experienced the touch of God’s hand. I suddenly knew that His life force existed; I had no question, no doubt. It would be many years before I again felt His touch as I had that day. But my belief and trust in a God who knows me, who resides over our souls, who shares His bounty of love, has never wavered again.

It would also be years before I could accept this divine love.

My life has been filled with penalties...penalties I suffered for the actions of others as well as my own. Some will say punishment is of our own making and I would have to agree, and the weight of this knowledge I will take with me when I go. Yet I have endured the path, the dusty Midway that existed on trinkets and glitz, and returned to that same illusion over and over in an effort to grab that elusive ring of change, the golden ring to solve my struggles, a reward to counter the penalties of sin.

Forgiveness is only a short grasp away.

Author James Frey returns to Oprah

It was five years ago that James Frey was shamed on air by Oprah Winfrey for exaggerating parts of his bestselling book, A Million Little Pieces. Frey will be returning to face the music this month on the last season of The Oprah Winfrey Show.

Many people, including Oprah Winfrey herself, were touched by James Frey’s story of substance abuse in his memoir A Million Little Pieces. In fact, Oprah loved it so much she picked it for her book club in 2005 which turned it instantly into a bestseller.

Frey went on the show in 2006 to admit that portions of his book were not completely true, including his three-month jail term and having dental surgery without novocaine. "In order to get through the experience of the addiction, I thought of myself as being tougher than I was and badder than I was, and it helped me cope," Frey told Oprah Winfrey during the show. "And when I was writing the book, instead of being as introspective as I should have been, I clung to that image."

"I feel duped," Oprah said, as audience members booed Frey. "But more importantly, I feel that you betrayed millions of readers."

Oprah later called Frey to apologize for her demeanor, however, his reputation has never recovered from the incident.

Now, on Oprah’s last season of her talk show, she will have Frey back in a two-episode interview airing May 16 and May 17 to discuss what Oprah calls "the biggest controversy in Oprah show history."

I bought this book primarily because I am acquainted with the author in an online sort of way, but I have never met him. I wasn't sure what to expect, so, hoping it would be a light & easy read, saved it for a recent beach trip.

It proved riveting, so much so that I ignored my traveling companions & the beach, & read until it was finished. It is a story of family love, pain & triumph. I only wish Norma Jean had lived to see the man Kris has become. She would be so proud! But then, she was always proud of him.

I recommend this book to everyone, bar none!

It is a wonderful commentary on the very things that make us all human.

Suitcase Full of Blues, Jimmy D Rogers & Kris Courtney present Foster Child Council Event

Suitcase Full of Blues presented by Jimmy D Rogers & American Artist Kris Courtney in association with the Foster Child Enrichment Council of Butler County Ohio.

This is the reality for many children who grow up in foster care, but Suitcase Full of Blues plans to change that. Four blues groups will convene at Martin Luther King Jr. Park uptown for a benefit concert from 1 to 7 p.m., April 30. This concert, inspired by Jimmy D. Rogers, has no price for admission — except the donation of a new or gently used suitcase or duffel bag.

Rogers came up with the idea while listening to the radio in his car. He said a story came on that discussed how demeaning it is for children to have nothing to carry their belongings in when they leave foster care or are transferred to a new home.

In addition to the musical entertainment at Suitcase Full of Blues, there will be clowns, face painting, balloons and a raffle with prizes and gift cards donated by local businesses such as Texas Roadhouse and Wal-Mart. Tickets will be six for $5 or $1 each and all money raised from the raffle will go to the Foster Child Enrichment Council. Courtney and Rogers hope for an excellent turnout if the weather cooperates. Local artist Kris Courtney has been credited with increasing awareness about the concert. At Suitcase Full of Blues, Courtney will begin to paint a canvas to be auctioned off that night.

While many of the more than 600 original Hinkley litigants moved away from the town after the 1996 settlement, Walker stayed. She preferred the remote desert landscape to a city skyline.

Now, Walker and Brockovich are struggling to understand how this could be happening all over again.

"When I first met Roberta back in 1991 and 1992, she said PG&E is buying property, handing out bottled water and my horse just died," she said. "This year she called and said they're buying property, handing out bottled water and my horse just died.

"Eerie doesn't describe it," she said. "It was out of body — it was like the 20 years never happened."

In 2008, the plume of chromium began spreading. Despite efforts by PG&E to stem the problem, tests this year showed it was growing again. According the utility and water board, the plume is two miles long and a mile wide.

Norma Jean's Sun, Memoir by Kris Courtney

Kris Courtney’s grandparents made a decision that would have terrible ramifications. As first cousins, their relationship was forbidden, but even though they were aware of the consequences of their actions, they chose to marry anyway.

Because of the choice they made, Courtney and his cousins were affected, though none as much as Kris himself. Birth defects too numerous to list here have plagued him his whole life, and surgery after surgery couldn’t correct what nature had done to his body.

As a result of his physical deformities, Courtney had to develop a coping mechanism, and his choice turned out to be his undoing. In Norma Jean’s Sun Kris Courtney details his struggles with his disabilities as well as his uncontrollable alcoholism and drug addiction.

Although it would be tempting for the author to blame those directly responsible for his misfortunes, Courtney shows refreshing forgiveness to those family members who had no idea what they would ultimately do to him. He is gracious in praising those who assisted him in his lowest times, acknowledging the sacrifices they made for him. And he also gives credit to his Higher Power, whom he calls God, in saving him from himself and his addictions.

Ultimately, Courtney is still dealing with his disabilities, but through God’s grace, he has been sober and functioning for many years now. He thrives as an artist in Ohio, and he is attempting to give back to those organizations who are working on cures for the ailments his family has suffered from.

Norma Jean’s Sun is no light reading. In fact, you’d probably hear a story like Courtney’s if you walked into an open twelve-step meeting. But there’s always hope, even for the most hopeless case, and Courtney proves that no matter how far down a man goes, he can still turn it around and have a good life.

What a year this has been!

Bless you and thank you again for your support and kindness in my journey and struggles. Although the path has not been always smooth, it has been paved with love and generosity from all those I have traveled with …

The Year started with a BANG and the newly released ‘Final Editors Edition of Norma Jean’s Sun on December 15th, just two weeks prior to the New Year. And as of to date, the Amazon reviews are holding steady in rating (4.6 out of 5 Stars)!!! I had the honor over the past 12 months to promote and present book club signings, appearances and speak to the content, message and impact of this True Story Memoir. It is my hope and prayers that the experiences of my life, the lessons learned and travel endured will continue to inspire, move and engage the reader to a meaningful experience also.

My artistic activity in 2010 has been nothing short of a Gods Blessing and gift. In May 2010, I was again recognized by the Art Academy of Cincinnati for a third event and presented in the SOS-2010 ART10, Sociopolitical Expression gallery. This show contained works from all over the United States and was primarily focused on awareness and the movement of Artistry to impact the community. “Broken Fence & Pain Faces”

The year did not stop here by no means.

“Play Me, I’m Yours – Street Piano” by Luke Jerram was presented as an available expression through Urban Environment and the capturing of space in August. Together, International Artist Luke Jerram & American Artist Kris Courtney join forces to create a graphic bridge of Urban Expression. By the efforts of Oxford Community Arts Center director Caroline Croswell and the Public Radio Celebration of Greater Cincinnati to celebrate the anniversaries of 90.9 WGUC (50 years), 91.7 WVXU (40 years), and 88.5 WMUB Oxford – I was asked to lead a task of artists to present a Symbolic Icon. Under the theme of international unity, I was inspired to present abstract views of American and UK flags in brilliant primary colors. Chrissy Collopy added her avant-garde expressions, and Stephanie Zing contributed a delightful glass and found object mosaic to the work. Questioning the ownership and rules of public space ‘Play Me I’m Yours’ is a provocation, inviting the public to engage with, activate and take ownership of their urban environment.

Simultaneously at this same period, Starbucks Coffee house provided and acknowledged gallery & display space for three of my more earthy toned and Java themed works to become center display items in the local Café. “Pueblo, Pacific 1 & Back Alley”

Soon following as the year rolled into the second half, my collection of recognized work and benevolent involvements began to draw additional exposure. “Finished Nude” an original Ink on Canvas, was recognized and accepted as the Feature Submission to International Musical Group – Coldplay. This painting was liked on Facebook and other Social Media sites for the entire first week of September. Ironic to that being around the same time I turned 51 in age – Oh well, getting old does seem to have its rewards.

In the past year I created a number of works that seemed to follow a power or energy of impression and yet still contained inside Primitive Literalism. Each painting subtle to contain another view and only disclosed upon closer exam. I use a large amount of effort to release what I envision and pray the viewer can not only observe, but also feel and view the information contained inside the brush stroke. With “One, Storm & ACT” serving as the flagship works for 2010, I found myself emerging into a wider view of what I can and can not become a part of in my artistry. I am limited, humbling in acceptance to that fact yet still gives me great pleasure and power to live in a surrendered state to what I can become…

In October I signed an agreement to move into an old broken down house that even to this day, has a leaky roof! Who’s STUPID Idea was this anyway??? Oh, I guess it was mine huh… Well, the house is situated on a main thoroughfare just outside Oxford and now – I have begun to open my own Private Gallery & Studio with a tentative date for the ‘Artist’s in the Corner’ Music & Art festival in College Corner with National Blues Musician Jim Jackson (Bad Men on a Mission) June 12th 2011. The focus I wanted to express was to provide a benevolent support to a community in struggle with the current economic concerns and hopefully provide a revenue generating event. The goal is also to capture eclectic and unique true Artisans for a small and genuine Fine Arts event. The response has already been larger than expected and assures that no matter what, we are going to have some fun on that Sunday afternoon – please consider a visit…

Wow, what a year this was. A move (as needed), an award winning event (as grateful), national book promotion (as blessed), illness (as usual), failures (as accepted) and the support of all you in each of my tasks. I can not move another inch forward without telling each and everyone of you how much it means and inspires me to know you have enjoyed my talents. They are God given in my heart and truly belong to you, I am only the carrier and messenger. If I have served no other purpose in 2010 other than to make you aware of a benevolent cause, shine a light on a need or color your sight with imagery, then it has been enough and I appreciate that moment. In August 2010, Cincinnati Public Radio will present ‘Play Me, I’m Yours’ by Luke Jerram in celebration of the 50th anniversary of 90.9 WGUC, the 40th Anniversary of 91.7 WVXU and the 60th Anniversary of 88.5 WMUB.

Using the inspiration of international unity, Courtney was inspired to present abstract views of American and UK Flags with a theme of brilliant primary colors. Through the Avant-garde style of Chrissy Collopy’s bold expressions, Stephanie Zing completes the arrangement with a collection of unique glass mosaic. Ironic to this fact, Luke Jerram is colour blind yet provides an interconnected resource, a blank canvas, for the public to express themselves and share their creativity. Questioning the ownership and rules of public space 'Play Me I'm Yours' is a provocation, inviting the public to engage with, activate and take ownership of their urban environment.

American Artist Kris Courtney – 2009 Collection

In the previous year, American Artist & Author Kris Allen Courtney has been prolific in the utmost fashion. His collection of artwork ranges from the uncomplicated still life, dramatic spiritual impression, zestful animal and landscape depictions to the inspiring and provocative nude. In the termed Genre of Primitive Literalism, the paint escapes the canvas into the viewer’s realm to offer a glimpse of unique colorful expression.

In the course of this year’s publication, Bethesda Medical of Greater Cincinnati extended an opportunity for two selections to be included in the Grand Opening of the Mary Jo Cropper Family Center. Coincidently prior to release, the back cover of Norma Jean’s Sun – a true story memoir also written by Courtney, “Passing” was included into this arrangement. The image captures the transparency of life, which was an emotional reaction to his Fathers death. “Road King” as well is hanging proudly to display the excitement and abstract interest in an afternoon Harley Davidson motorcycle ride. Each of these works considered gems in the year events.

In April, Norma Jean’s Sun – a true story memoir was release on Amazon.com. Originally published as an un-edited copy, the contents paralleled the life and journey of Courtney’s mother, Norma Jean. As the moving tale reveals, not only the struggle and heartrending elements of generational lives “gone wrong,” but also the love and growth of a human being overcoming the odds and determined to find a way to live life to the fullest. Based on a true story, the author’s unapologetic prose prompts enduring ethical questions and makes a gripping, personal read.

The months of September and October offered even more gratitude and publicity as Kris began his preliminary book signing tour at Middfest International Indonesia in Middletown Ohio. As well, his painting “Fragrance” gained an audience, as it became part of the Southwest Ohio Area Show judged by the Art Academy of Cincinnati. A very limited and highly visible Gallery of select works at the MAC.

As the year began to end, Courtney has continued to gain praise from readers and art connoisseurs throughout the region and abroad. Creativity drawn from both personal experience and the talented mind's eye of a master, this energy is sure to gain in both current and visibility. Bethesda Medical Center, West Chester Ohio issues two Awards for Artwork by Kris Courtney. Included are "Road King" and "Passing" the cover art of his Novel, Norma Jean's Sun.

With completion of the Mary Jo Cropper Family Center in July, the artwork selected will be installed prior to the Grand Opening. In our effort to create a warm and personalized environment, we will promote creative arts in Greater Cincinnati - as recognized and valued.

“Road King” and “Passing” represent two of my more emotional and colorful works to date. With Passing becoming the Image used as the Cover to my Novel, Norma Jean’s Sun; I could not be more excited about the extended view this award will offer.

A fall afternoon with the same breeze of moist leaves skirting across the yard that had once shown promise of hope greeted me as I left for the airport. My task was to arrive at deaths door. I beckon the belief that most have when challenged to this degree and again presented a facsimile of a 207 normal man. Except this time, I would not return the same and all who saw knew the last moral fiber connecting me to a human existence was pull to its
breaking point. The taxi ride from the Terminal was all so surreal and quiet. Asking in my mind for the car to drive past but inside expectantly afraid of what I will witness this time I enter the room. A room closely watched by Devil and God alike.
