FEMO' The Painted Fire Hydrant
American Artist Kris Courtney creates a novelty painted fireplug (Hydrant) in Paducah Kentucky as part of the Paducah Renaissance Alliance "Paint the Plugs" program.
As stated in the Paducah Sun:
“The group that applied and are painting are a great representation of the entire town,” Thompson said. “These people are from downtown and all over the city. The project celebrates Paducah as a whole.”
"FEMO"
As an Urban expression of joining community with art, this marks the second effort done by Courtney. The first, "Play Me, I'm Your's" was a joint effort with International artist Luke Jerram.
